Challenges to the Champion
When they arrive on the scene, the attendants are Dieter Schmiedehammer the former champion, Maximillian von Genscher one of the Midden Marshalls and Siegfried Prunkvoll, the Knight eternal. There is also a tent of the Arabian Delegation but its is not known who is inside.
Lothar is challenged by an elf named Farnoth, the bout is preceded as always by a magician who sees to it that no magic is brought into the challenge. The fight is quick and exiting, the elf manages to get in a couple of hits before being bested. After the duel, Lothar feels dizzy and light headed. Investigation reveals he has been the target of a spell and Mandred manages to alleviate its effects by casting dispel magic. Of Farnoth however, no trace can be found.

They also find supporters in the two elves and in the Middenheim Marshals, all of these find the taxes unjust and damaging to the city.
Otfried confronts Ar Ulric with the information they gathered so far. The high chaos cult activity, the Necromancer at large and the Skaven danger from beneath. He point the high priest to his responsabilities and demands action. Ar Ulric is nervous, sweaty and finally gives in. He says something bad is happening to him which he cannot discuss in public. He agrees to meet Otfried the next evening in his home in the Palace.
The Black Coach
The dark forest erupts in violence, shouts and screams are drowned by gunshots and lightning bolts. The Norse mercenaries are aided by a spellcaster, hiding in the black coach. The company of thieves is slain instantly by an area effect spell but in return, the combined efforts of the heroes kill off the tough Norse.
With the bodyguards into the realm of Morr, the adventurers converge on the crashed coach...
