We missed half of our players this session so I concocted something different. Enter the villains...
A dark Gathering
While they are taking a breather before continuing their dungeoneering antics, Gotrak, Otfried and Felix suddenly receive a vision.
Somewhere deep in the chaos wastes, three aspiring champions of chaos gather at the Floating Ziggurat of Anguish. they have been summoned by Be'lakor, The Harbinger, One Who Heralds the Conquerors, the Foretoken, The First Deamon Prince.
The three summoned chaos minions are:
Vuluwvar Head Eater a Norse Warleader of Nurgle;
This immense fat albino wears tattered, rusty chain mail and rides a putrid Chaos Steed that appears to sometimes dissapear into a mist. 10 Nurglings hide in his long white beard and fat skin folds.
he wields a massive two handed axe, the hilt is made out of a huge rib and the pommel is a beating blood dripping heart. He has a large following of Norse Marauders, Pestigors and some Chaos Dwarfs.
Aimar Schock, a Cult Magus of Khorne Originating from Ostland.
He is a very tall, skinny warrior in full plate wielding a two handed sword that has grown onto his hand and continuously drips blood. He is accompanied by a vicious looking chaos hound.
When he frenzies he transforms into a Were-bear who squirts blood from his skin while wreaking havoc all over the battlefield. His warband mostly consists of Khornagors.
Last but not least is Ulrich Gessler, a Cult magus of Tzeentch.
He is a telekinetic that can multiply and has one eye on a stalk, which he usually hides in his turban, but the eye still sees all from beyond the jewel. His Chaos armour and tzeentch spellbook make him a force to be reckoned with! His coterie consists mostly of mutants and cultists and his lieutenant is a Dark Elf Witch. He also has a Chaos Dwarf Engineer, capable of building powerful siege engines.

The three are tasked to head to the empire, go to Middenheim, find the Crossed Pikes Inn, break into the room of Celestial wizard Mandred Vogel and steal a sword there called the Anathema. Once this is accomplished, they are to travel to the Border Princes' and conquer a town named Vitrolle from the Cult of the Jade Scepter who currently hold it. When this is done they are to refurbish it's temple in Be'lakor's name and perform a Deamon summoning ritual. If they do all these things, they are promised rewards and glory in the eyes of the Gods.
Raiders on the Sea of Claws
Before they leave, the aspiring champions are given three things to help them:
First, they recieve a vision, linking their mind to the minds of the crew inf the empire. In this way, their minds are flooded with the knowledge from everything that happened with them from the biggest secrets to the tiniest details. Secondly, they recieve a potion of disguise, which should help them during the infiltration of Middenheim. Third, they can contact a certain Mr. Gouda, who has connections with the Skaven of Clan Skyre and should be able to help.
The small army and their leaders travel from the ziggurat to the Sea of Claws, where they buy raiding longboats. After several months, braving the ice cold winds and frozen waters, the four longboats come into Imperial waters where they encounter a Man of War.
The ship has spotted them and the warleaders decide to attack it, in order to steal it so they can enter the Empire with less suspicion. The Dark Elf Sorceress casts an illusion of a burning ship heading straight for the Frigate. The illusion is bombarded by three rows of cannons and meanwhile, the sleek longships get closer and closer at great speeds. When they are in range, Gessler splits into multiple smaller beings and they all make a mental barrage on the captain of the other ship. One of the mental attacks succeeds and the possessed captain shouts orders to abandon ship. The chaos forces board the vessel and start a full scale massacre among its crew.
They scuttle their longboats and continue the journey in their prize.
The voyage ends in Salzenmund, capital of Nordland. Before they enter the harbour, under the cover of night, they unload Vuluwvar and the most conspicuous mutants and monsters. These will hide in the Drakwald forest as the others get rid of the ship and buy horses and wagons.
Plenty of gold changes hands as the Chaos minions bribe politicians and make purchases. But gold is not important to them and they have plenty.

Infiltrating the city of the White Wolf
During their trek trough the Drakwald forest, the scouts and hunters of the warband return with tales of some kind of Prophet, who is able to gather nearby tribes of beastmen in large numbers. The aspiring champios search and find the Braysone where these beasten gather end they meet with the prophet, who they learn is named Ludovic, the deamon child.
Ludovic brings them in contact with Skaven, who, for some warpstone, are willing to guide them trough the Fauslag rock to the surface of Middenheim.
It takes three days to travel underneath Middenheim and on the first night, Gessler overhears the Skeven speak in their native tongue. He understands they plan to murder the threesome in their sleep the following night so they can steal the rest of the Warpstone. He manages to speak to one of the three assassins and promise him the whole lot of warpstone if he can get them to the surface. Next, they preemptively destroy the other two ratmen. The Skaven takes them all the way up to Middenheim and introduces them to Mr Gouda. They ask the crimelord his blessing to raid the inn, to which he agrees if first they help him by destroying an outpost of his rival The Man. This is easily done, the remaining skaven is then murdered and Mr. Gouda provides a distraction with a bomb while the Villains rampage trough the inn.
They know exactly where to be, under which bed to look and which chest to open, they find a second Anathema and after killing the cleaning lady, they escape Middenheim with their prizes.

Preparing for War
During their long trek to The Border Princes, the Villains gather more forces. However, to reach the distant land, they must get trough the Winter's Teeth Pass. Which is heavily guarded by Imperial and Dwarf forces. They learn that there is a tribe of Orcs who worship a Deamon of Nurgle. This is unknown to the Orcs, they think its a manifestation of Gork, or Mork.
The chaos cultists perform a ritual to parley with this Deamon and after promising him that one third of their conquered kingdom will be given to him, he agrees to teleport the entire warband across the mountains.
After sending out scouts and drawing more chaos creatures to their cause, the Villains discover who are the players in this new land.
- Lietpold the Black: mercenary general, wanted criminal and dastardly sell-sword, Lietpold (also known as Lietpold the Thrice-Cursed, Lietpold the Butcher and Lietpold the Liar) is a man to whom profit is more valued than honour or loyalty. Renowned across the Old World for his bloodthirsty and treacherous exploits, Lietpold is a vain, arrogant, vicious, paranoid and cruel despot; as bloody a tyrant as any in the Border Princes. This man might be persuaded to help.
- Artilli Levrellian. The son of a former soldier and a tavern wench. Levrellian is a clever man who rules more through strategy than sheer brawn. He is crafty and unscrupulous, having learned the value and power of treaties—and how to bend them to his own advantage. Recently, he has become more power hungry and it is rumoured he will soon try to annex his neighbours lands.
- Fatandira, from Arabia, Fatandira sees herself as an enlightened monarch. Though she carved out her lands with blood and fire, she seeks to create a land free of the bigotry and hate that imprisons the minds of the Borderlanders. She has little ambition about extending her territory, for now at least, and seems content to hold what she has taken.
- Mir Haflok was born in the Empire, he is a devout man and a follower of Sigmar. This man poses the biggest threat to the followers of Chaos.
These four "princes" are the nearest to the town of Vitrolle.
The town itself is well defended by Jade Scepter Cultists and the advance scouts report seeing Slaanesh Deamons walking around.
The Aspiring Champions prepare for battle...
