About Karak Norn: Karak Norn is built amongst the Grey mountains. On one side of the hold lies the forest of Loren and on the otherside lies the Black Mountains and Bugmans Brewery. The inhabitants of the hold have tended to keep themselves to themselves over the years. The Dwarfs have been forced in many respects to develop their air transport as due to the Grey mountains being amongst some of the highest and most difficult in the old world to naviagte. The Dwarfs have built such machines as the war ballon (basically designed for hunting gobos and orcs in the mountains) and also the infamous Karak Norn airship which is used to fery the dwarfs to and from the mines around the stronghold. The Dwarfs in Karak Norn have had their problems over the years, what with the Wood Elves being so close and the always present threat of Skaven in the tunnels and mines of the mountains. The hold has fallen once, a long time ago but was captured shortly after a huge counter attack form the air, where the Dwarfs were air lifted into the hold by their air ships and attacked the Skaven from the inside.
About Grungni: He is one of the three chief Ancestor Gods of the Dwarfs alongside Grimnir (Grungni's brother) and Valaya (Grungni's wife). Grungni is the god of mining and smiths, and is the most important god to the Dwarfs. In Dwarf lore he was the first to delve into the rock, to mine the ores and smelt them into metals, which he taught the Dwarfs. In this way he gave the Dwarfs the tools and the means to defend themselves against their enemies.
Grungni is both an artisan and a warrior god. His main credo is oath and honour, upon which Dwarf society is built. His greatest shrine is located at the hold of Karak Azul.

Gotrak was born into
despair, dirt and poverty. Son of whore and an alcoholic and abusive
father, he was, from a young age, destined to suffer the wrath of his
botched family situation. Crawling the dirty and dim-lit streets of
Karak Norn, he and his family only survived the hustling and bustling
with whoring, stealing and lying. But at his 25th
birthday his mother was in such need of money that she sold him off
to a rich merchant. That changed the certain path of destiny for
Gotrak Gringirock.
Wolfram Bach, a hustler and shady merchant from Altdorf quickly saw the obvious in Gotrak, that is, he was huge, already from a young age, for a dwarf. Wolfgang, lured by the quick profit of illicit pitfights and gambling, started to invest in the physical training of Gotrak. For years Gotrak sparred, trained and fought in Altdorf, raising tons of money for Wolfram.
But then Gotrak became aware that Wolfram was exploiting him and decided to leave. A difficult decision because he knew nobody in Altdorf. But Gotrak escaped and started wandering the streets of Altdorf. Quickly, and certainly because of his fighting capabilities, he was adopted into a sprawl street gang called ‘Kharak Azur’ named after the code of the city guards that reigned over their turf. It was then that Gotrak rejected his birthname Gringirock and took on the name of Gotrak Mittnachson, to express his feeling that he had no parents but was born out of the darkness of the night itself, destined to be alone forever. He quickly rose the ranks of the Kharak Azur and a few years of fighting, robbery and violence later came out on top. Gotrak Mittnachson was now feared and revered in the back alleys of Altdorf.
But more was in Gotrak and he started to grow bored of the constant struggle for turf and the quick money form street robberies and stealing. So he decided to return to the Pit. Many years did he fight in gambling halls and gory pits and while doing started to abuse Garok Blood, the blood of a rockbull that made him immensely strong but had a profound impact on his mental stability. Gotrak was more and more sucked into a false world of make believe where he thought he was the lost son of a dwarvenking.
And once again, Gotrak, using his strong will and dwarven resilience felt it was time to change. He left the pit and the Garok Blood and strolled out into the world. Certain that now he would find peace and his father.
